Security procedures

Travelers arriving at Albany International airport are subject to TSA security screening. Security procedures for arrivals are similar to those on departures.

Travelers are strongly encouraged to follow several rules. Before the security screening procedure, it is essential to be sure that you have got no prohibited items in your luggage. Passengers should remember that liquids, aerosols, gels, or creams should place in a bin for screening. Travelers must be ready when entering the checkpoint lane, have an acceptable I.D., and boarding pass out of their wallet and prepared to hand it to the TSA officer.

After security checkpoints and clearing customs, passengers invited to claim their baggage and head for the exit or meeting points.
